You will be joining BASW at a pivotal moment. We are looking for talented individuals who share our commitment to social work and can help us build a bigger, stronger, and more influential association for the profession.
This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting contribution, help shape our direction, and play a key role in delivering our ambitions for members, the social work profession and the people, families and communities social workers support.
Our Marketing & Sales Officers will be responsible for the day-to-day activities that drive member recruitment and retention. They will focus on converting prospective leads into active membership, increase event attendance and ensure existing members are fully engaged and aware of their member benefits. By implementing core business strategies to realise increased growth and retention of members e.g. marketing strategy and by being proficient in CRM systems our ideal candidate will bring a blend of marketing, sales, CMS and social media experience to create compelling reasons to join BASW, using personalised content which is segmented by specialisms and tailored to the four nations of the UK.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate who can demonstrate: -
- Experience in a marketing, sales role
- Experience in managing professional social accounts such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
- Proficient in CRM systems – Dynamics desirable
- Skilled in email marketing platforms – Dynamics desirable
- Experience in scheduling and social listening tools
- Strong copywriting skills
- Basic proficiency in design skills
- Organisational skills
It would also be desirable to have
- Degree in Marketing, sales or similar
